Turmeric Latte with Almonds and Saffron.. the name itself gives warming and nourishing feeling, isn't it. Hey guys replace your coffee latte/ cappuccino in your breakfast, brunch or during bed time with this Golden colored nourishing milk called Turmeric Latte.
Today I am sharing you a recipe which consists turmeric with  antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, cinnamon powder  which is with antibacterial properties, almond  rich in fiber and protein, In a nutshell the golden turmeric latte will help you fight with common cold, increase your immunity and also help you in weight loss. So let try this delicious and nutritious latte ...
Preparation Time: 5   Cooking Time: 5   Total Time: 10  
Makes 2 servings 
Ingredients:-
2 cup low fat milk. 
2-3 cm fresh turmeric, peeled and grated or 3/4 spoon turmeric powder.
4-5 almonds.
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder.
1/2 tsp cardamom powder.
2-3 threads of saffron. 
Honey/ Jaggery /sugar to taste.

Method

1. Add all the ingredients in a blender jar and blend it till it get smooth texture. 

2. Put the mixture in saucepan and boil it for 2-3 minutes. keep string it. Now turn off the flame and put the Turmeric latte into mugs.

3. Now garnish it with almonds and saffron threads ans serve hot.


Cooking Tip: 
1. Blending it will give the creamier taste. 

2. you may add 1tsp vanilla essence or extract also, it will enrich the flavor.  

How to serve
1. you can garnish Turmeric latter with almonds, sprinkle cinnamon powder , saffron threads.

2. Serve hot with fruit and nut  cake.
